Cubs In Action: Mac Carey ’16

Mac Carey ’16 was a water polo standout during his four years at Loyola, and the accolades continue to pile up in college. Carey played in all 27 of Santa Clara’s water polo games this year, ranking second on the team in both goals and assists. Carey said, “Coach Healy prepared me well for Santa Clara water polo. Most of the things that we’re doing now at Santa Clara are things that I’ve already done at Loyola, so I was well prepared to play college water polo. A college schedule is hectic and you have to keep calm under pressure, but I learned that at Loyola, so it was nothing new at the next level.”
