Cubs In Action: Joon Sung ’16

Joon Sung ’16 now attends Brown University as a swimmer. Sung competed in the 100m butterfly, 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley at the Ivy League Championships in February of 2017. His 100m butterfly mark of 48.64 seconds ranked 10th fastest at Brown’s Division I swimming program. Sung also swam the 11th fastest 100m backstroke in Brown history with a time of 49.83 seconds. Sung said, “Being a student-athlete at Loyola seemed like the norm. It was a pretty good environment to be in terms of pushing yourself in all aspects that will make you a better person.”
